Today, I spent the better part of my afternoon making a delicious dinner (besides watching and answering the questions of my oldest nephew). It turned out great and was well worth the effort. Here's my version of packing 5 recipes into one meal:
Corn-stuffed Pork Chops (p.231) - delicious way of adding some zing to pork chops (although the cookbook calls for way too much baking time) - accompanied by
Applesauce (p.124) - pretty standard - and
Broccoli-Carrot Stir fry (p.407) as the main course. I also made some Israeli Couscous, which turned out yummy, but is not from my cookbook...

Noah also helped me make a loaf of
Sourdough Bread (p.42) and I used part of the dough to make
Apple-Streusel Ladder Loaf (p.46), which was delicious. According to Charles' opinion, it even beats the apple dumplings from the other day. I'm not sure I would go quite that far, but it was really yummy.
